Even though everyone (or nearly everyone) eventually puts a case on their new iPhone, we all stress over which color to buy. And this year, the decision looks to be more difficult than ever.
Instead of two lines with two sets of color options (standard vs Pro), this year’s models will reportedly offer three sets of colors, with the iPhone 17 and the 17 Air featuring different hues. We’ve previously reported on the range of options that will be available, but now two leakers are showing off exactly how they will look.
Both Sonny Dickson and Majin Bu have shared a look at near-final dummy models for the iPhone 17 range, showing how the back of the phones will look with the new camera designs.

Notably, the two images differ slightly. Bu’s lineup includes a green iPhone 17 as well as a gray iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, while Sonny Dickson’s lineup has just four options for each. Macworld’s Filipe Esposito previously reported on a green iPhone 17 and a gray iPhone 17 Pro. We also believe there will be a gray iPhone 17, which neither image shows.
Otherwise, the images match up with Macworld’s reporting, which included four iPhone 17 Air hues (black, white, light blue, light gold), six iPhone 17 colors (black, white, purple, and light blue in addition to green and gray), and five iPhone 17 Pro options (black, white, dark blue, orange, and the aforementioned gray).
